Japanese Flower Inspiration

When studying a country, I love researching the local flora and fauna for inspiration. This helps to learn about the local climate, inspire your palette, and practice in your journal before moving on to larger works of art. I took these photos in the gardens throughout Kyōto when we visited Japan. The gardens are amazing retreats from the bustling life in Japan. I hope these inspire you throughout your Art Passports journey.
