Travel Days Series - Athens, Greece

This weeks Travel Days series is taken from our Travel + Art Prompt Guide. The prompt we included was to travel by way of your senses. I wanted to travel by scent and immediately was taken back to a trip I had to Greece. Our trip was in the middle of summer so there was the fragrance of jasmine around, the rawness of the dirt as we explored, the salty sea smell, and all the incredible herbs added to the cuisine. There were of course other not as pleasant smells including diesel, tobacco, and donkey poop. Good and bad, they all transported me back to this place to this sliver in time. Our sense of smell is such a powerful way to connect to memory. What scents do you remember from your travels? Where do they take you?
