Japan Art Passports Farewell

Japan, you hold my heart and have sparked my interest. I always come to the “end” of my research on a country and feel like I could have learned much more and created heaps of additional artwork influenced by the country. The truth is, I will.

I am not saying goodbye to a country when I move on with my Art Passports journey. I am opening the door to continue to learn more through my lifetime.

The goal of this project was to continue to learn about the world, about different cultures and people, the heritage of a place, and artisan techniques from around the globe by way of art. I wanted to learn different perspectives than my own. Dive into what makes us all unique and different and also what connects us all. This opens to growth and knowledge will forever stay with me and each country will inspire my work for years to come. I hope it does the same for you in some shape or form.
