Travel Days Series - Oaxaca

After a recent trip to Oaxaca, I felt so inspired to create some artwork from this amazing place. For this lesson we will focus on the center of Oaxaca City or Templo de Santo Domingo. Simple in design from the outside, the interior of this church boasts Spanish Baroque gilded 3D sculptures and arches galore. When you see it in various lights it almost glows from the inside out. The landscape surrounding the area is amazing and has a ethnobotanical garden adjacent where you can tour the grounds.
