 Do you love to travel and document the places you visit?

Or maybe you want to get to know the city you live in better? Our newest class, Oaxaca Urban Sketching is a mini class where we will discover techniques on sketching city scenes and the details of your surroundings on the go. We will discuss travel art supplies and various techniques to add depth to your pieces. We will ditch the ruler and work instead with free flowing line marks, architectural contour drawings, and various mediums to create dynamic scenes from your travels so you can hold your memories in your sketchbooks. I will also briefly discuss ways to turn your travel journal spreads into larger pieces on canvas or paper.

Our mini “layover” style classes are 2-2.5 hours in length are are intended to take on your layover or long lunch break. We will focus on one subject matter or medium so you can expand your art practice. Our online art classes are pre-recorded so you can take  them at your own time and pace and are suited to artists of all levels.
